About us

Studio Manifest is a London-based practice specialising in design, architecture, and construction. Our mission is to transform access to energy-efficient architecture. We want to build more energy-efficient homes at a more affordable price. We prioritise natural, local, and low-energy materials, work to Active House standards, and are constantly innovating through our own research and ongoing collaborations with higher education institutions.

We’re looking to strengthen our already highly efficient team by bringing in someone who can expand our capacity and contribute far beyond drawing production. We want a key individual who brings energy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to improve professional practice as we continue to establish ourselves as thought leaders within the industry.

The role

We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Part 2 Architectural Graduate. This is a role for someone who wants to challenge themselves; we need a proactive individual who is excited to help shape a growing practice, bring their own expertise to the business, and meaningfully amplify our collective capacity.

We are looking for someone who embodies the ethos of Studio Manifest, someone who believes in building better, more sustainable homes, and who sees architecture as a tool for social, environmental, and economic impact. You will play a leading role not only in project delivery but also in business development, thought leadership, and our active research agenda. This includes shaping internal standards, and acting as a confident external communicator who can represent the studio with clarity and purpose. This position is suited to an individual with maturity, gravitas, and ambition.

The core tasks will include:

  • Lead the development of detailed technical packages (RIBA Stage 3 & 4), including coordinating with structural and M&E engineers.

  • Prepare and submit Building Regulations and planning applications.

  • Undertake site surveys and produce accurate existing and proposed drawings.

  • Develop designs from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with Passivhaus principles and low-carbon material strategies.

  • Visit sites to monitor construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.

  • Play a key role in improving business efficiency.

  • Contribute to ongoing internal research into sustainable and affordable construction methods.

  • Work closely with Architects to prepare and deliver client presentations and design pitches.

The candidate

Our values, to Be Open, Collaborate Generously, Push Boundaries, and Enjoy the Ride, are intrinsic to everything we do. We seek a Part 2 graduate who aligns with these and possesses proven delivery skills.

Essential Requirements & Attributes:

  • Part 2 qualification in Architecture (MArch or equivalent).

  • Strong, demonstrable proficiency in Revit (BIM). Experience using Revit to produce comprehensive technical detailing (RIBA Stage 4) is essential.

  • A strong portfolio, ideally showcasing housing schemes and detailed technical resolution.

  • Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the planning application process.

  • Confidence working within the Adobe Suite.

  • Happy working in a fast-paced environment.

  • A self-starter and problem solver who takes ownership and is not afraid to challenge the status quo.

  • Highly collaborative team player with superb attention to detail.

  • A genuine interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design.

  • Confident in contributing to the studio’s marketing and social media presence, with a good eye for engaging visuals.
